Welcome to the final day of the Test series, in what has been a terrific few weeks if you are an Indian fan, not so much for the Australian folk, though. All today will determine is whether the final score will finish 2-1, or 3-1, to the visitors. The hosts will want to see their side fight it out for the draw, and show that this inexperienced batting line up has shown progress in recent times. India will win their first ever series in this part of the world, so why not make it more flattering? They have been much the better team in all three departments, and fully deserve their rewards. Whatever the result today, let us hope the players put on a show for the spectators to cap off a compelling series.

A disappointing start to today, as there is some light drizzle in the air. Hopefully that passes quickly and we can get back to the cricket.

A tepid way to finish the match, and series. Unfortunately no play today, and that means things end in a draw, with India taking home a 2-1 victory. The attention will now turn to the white ball format, with the first of three ODIs beginning on Saturday. Do join us for that.
