Asa Tribe is one of the brightest young batting talents to emerge from associate cricket. The Jersey-born top-order batter made his international debut at 17 and quickly established himself as a key figure in the national side with his elegant strokeplay and ability to convert starts into substantial scores. He announced himself on the global stage with a century against Bermuda during the 2022 Cricket World Cup Challenge League B before becoming one of the first Jersey players to score an ODI hundred the following year.

His exploits earned him a professional contract with Glamorgan, where he continued his rapid rise. Tribe made his first-class debut in 2024 before establishing himself in the county's top order the following season. A prolific 2025 campaign saw him register his maiden first-class century, reel off three successive List A hundreds for Glamorgan and Jersey, and finish the summer with a maiden double-century in the County Championship. Those performances also brought recognition beyond county cricket. Tribe represented the England Lions in early 2026, impressing across both white-ball and red-ball fixtures, before Welsh Fire secured his services in The Hundred auction.
