New Zealand struggle their way to a score of 230. They did well to bat out the overs in the end, given the terrible start they got off to. The top four all went cheaply, and the middle order had to repair some damage. Shouldn't be enough to defend given the capabilities of the Indians when chasing, and the nature of the pitch. It was never going to be enough runs by New Zealand. India did not get out of first gear, and just plodded along at five an over for the duration of their innings. Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik with the main contributions. Bhuvi Kumar was excellent with the ball also. So the series stands at one a piece with one game left. Should be a cracker of a decider, which will be played on Sunday.
