  • This will be the eighth meeting between New Zealand and Bangladesh in men’s T20I cricket; the Black Caps have won all seven of their previous encounters, the last of which came on January 8, 2017.
  • The only previous multi-game bilateral men’s T20I series between New Zealand and Bangladesh ended in a 3-0 series sweep for the Black Caps in January 2017.
  • New Zealand have won seven of their last 10 men’s T20Is heading into this fixture, while Bangladesh come into this match on the back of two consecutive wins after having lost four matches straight prior.
